About Me...

    I’m a wife with one husband (something he appreciates), a mom with two kids (we decided to stop at two, as we didn’t want to be outnumbered), and an animal lover. I have five horses, three dogs, and four cats. I’m a trauma nurse, so my day job gets me up close and personal with all those gory details I write about in my books. For fun I study and practice Karate. I recently received my Green Belt, and my sensei has nicknamed me ‘The Shredder’

My Family...

    My husband recently graduated from Nurse Anesthesia school, which has allowed me to spend more time with my children. My son is thirteen, knows everything, and would be happiest to simply disappear into one of his video games. My daughter is twelve, a bit of a tomboy, and wants to be a veterinarian. When reminded that the sight of blood makes her sick, she replied, “That’s all right. I’m only going to treat healthy animals.”

The Truth...

    Okay, so I don’t wear skin tight spy-girl outfits or pack a .45 in a shoulder holster. But I do love to write, and I am proud to be associated with my new publisher, and I hope you enjoy reading my novels.  ~Ann Simko
